But we can also depend on Joe to serve up a southern fried feast for Father’s Day (you didn’t forget did you?). Joe’s Bar & Dining Hall has invited guest chef Andrew Blake to design a pop-up menu for this Sunday only. I hear kingfish tacos with lime, salsa verde and chipotle mayo, sesame-crusted tuna steak burgers and smoked baby back ribs with applewood and a Texas mop sauce will all be on the grill. Could your dad resist a hokey-pokey ice-cream sandwich made with choc chip cookies for dessert? I, of course, recommend their most manly cocktail the New York Sour (rye whiskey, lemon, egg whites, cabernet merlot)
