Anyone who has spent much time flipping through the chronological cocktail menu at 1806 would realise it is possibly the best way in which to garner an education in history. Ever striving to stay true to classic recipes, the bar has published their very first book; “World History as Seen Through the Bottom of a Glass”.
The book is launching with a party on Thursday 30th August at 1806, 169 Exhibition Street in Melbourne. Doors open from 5pm (with canapés served from 7pm). Your ticket which includes a copy of book and three (fabulous) cocktails can be secured by clicking here.
Sounds like I’ll need to undertake some revisional history homework soon.
